Alan Karickhoff is a Research Analyst for the American Trucking Associations (ATA), the national trade association for the trucking industry. As a Research Analyst, he assists the Chief Economist manage all of ATA's collection, analysis, and dissemination of trucking economic information. This includes several monthly trucking economic indicators, motor carrier financial and operating data, driver wage studies, weekly diesel fuel price and economic reports, and a yearly trucking almanac. Prior to joining ATA in January, 2019, Alan was a survey statistician with the U.S. Census Bureau in Suitland, Maryland, responsible for producing data about the American people and economy. Alan has a Master of Professional Studies degree in Applied Economics from the University of Maryland, College Park and a Bachelor of Arts in Economics from Dickinson College in Carlisle, PA.

Rebecca Brewster is President and Chief Operating Officer of the American Transportation Research Institute (ATRI). ATRI is the trucking industry’s not-for-profit research organization, whose mission is research to improve the trucking industry’s safety and productivity. Rebecca is the recipient of several awards including Fleet Owner magazine’s 2016 Dozen Outstanding Women in Trucking, the 2013 Influential Woman in Trucking award from the Women in Trucking Association, and the 2010 J.R. Bob Halladay award given by the 50 state trucking associations. Rebecca has been with ATRI for over 28 years. Prior to that, she was the Public and Governmental Affairs Director for the Cary, North Carolina Chamber of Commerce and a Fleet Analyst with Moen, Inc. Rebecca has a B.A. in English from Wofford College and she is a Fellow of the North Carolina Institute of Political Leadership.

Currently he is in charge of Vehicle Shipping Quality, Claims, and Damage Prevention for North America. Sean’s work history at Ford includes 11 years at the Norfolk Assembly Plant in Virginia and 2 years at the Flat Rock Assembly in Michigan, where he held leadership positions in Material Handling, Synchronous Material Flow, and Production. His former Vehicle Logistics roles included Shipping Yard Facilities, Yard Manager Contracts, Load Testing and now, Vehicle Shipping Quality, Claims and Damage prevention. In his capacity as the AIAG Damage Claims Handling work-group Chair, he works with a mix of automotive OEM and Carrier professionals to lead a continued focus on process improvements for reporting and preventing damage as vehicles are transported throughout the network to the final destination dealers.

Prior to joining HYUNDAI GLOVIS, he was the west coast regional parts Logistics Manager with VASCOR Ltd. There he oversaw west coast parts logistics operations in support of Toyota Motor Manufacturing Texas (TMMTX) and Toyota Motor Manufacturing Baja California. He also served as the operations manager of Toyota’s Cross Dock operation in Los Angeles supporting Toyota facilities in Long Beach and Fremont Ca. as well as Takaoka Japan. Darren holds a master’s of art degree in Organizational Leadership from Brandman University and a bachelor’s of science degree in Business Management from the University of Phoenix. He also served as a United States Marine for 21 years and retired honorably in 2005.

His experience includes: material handling, production supervision, stamping supervision, future material launch teams, supplier capacity constraints teams, production control, vehicle scheduling, design change engineering, international parts ordering, integrated supply chain management, packaging, last mile logistics, inbound logistics, service parts logistics, finished vehicle strategy, export vehicle ordering, and finished vehicle logistics operations. He has also been part of two OEM Greenfield startups in Mishawaka IN, and Blues Springs MS. Ryan in addition to 8yrs at Nissan, has also worked at General Motors (12yrs), and Toyota (5yrs). Ryan enjoys golfing, skiing, boating, classic cars, cooking, and landscaping. Ryan lives in Mount Juliet, Tennessee with his wife Jill and son Clayton, age sixteen.
